UP Gets Relief: Rain Forecast for Hot Days!

Following a period of scorching heat and bright sunshine in Uttar Pradesh, the weather is set to change once more. With the activation of a Western Disturbance, there’s a cautionary alert for rain, storms, and lightning in certain areas of Eastern UP over the next 48 hours. Cloud movement is expected to commence from Saturday onwards, potentially bringing light to moderate rainfall during this timeframe.

 

UP Heatwave Ends: Rain SHOCK!

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for 24 districts in Eastern UP, including areas like Gonda, Bahraich, Balrampur, and Shravasti. Over the next two days, May 7th and 8th, there could be light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms in these regions, with a chance of lightning in some places.

The recent Western Disturbance has caused unusual snowfall in the mountains, even during summer, leading to cooler temperatures in plains like Delhi, offering some relief from the heatwave.

Another Western Disturbance is approaching, continuing the pattern of snowfall and rain. The Meteorological Department advises staying indoors during rough weather to avoid potential damage from strong winds.

Varanasi recorded the highest temperature in UP at 42 degrees, with most districts experiencing temperatures over 40 degrees on Friday. The upcoming Western Disturbance on May 7th and 8th may bring rain and thunderstorms to almost all districts of UP.
