This week, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge expressed hopes for the swift recovery of former Karnataka Chief Minister SM Krishna during his visit to a Bengaluru hospital where Krishna is receiving treatment.
Kharge stated after the meeting, “I visited him. His condition is getting better, and I extend my best wishes for his speedy recovery.”
SM Krishna: A Political Legacy
At the age of 91, SM Krishna, a veteran politician who previously served in significant roles such as Karnataka Chief Minister from October 11, 1999, to May 28, 2004, and as External Affairs Minister during the UPA government led by Manmohan Singh from 2009 to 2012, as well as Maharashtra Governor, has a long and distinguished political career.
