Samsung has launched the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G in India, catering to budget-conscious and mid-range buyers. Both feature a 50MP camera, 5000mAh battery, and MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G in India, targeting budget-conscious and mid-range smartphone buyers. Both devices come equipped with a 50MP primary camera, a 5000mAh battery, and the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The Galaxy M16 5G stands out with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, while the Galaxy M06 5G features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen.

The Galaxy M16 5G stands out with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, offering vibrant colors, deep contrasts, and sharp visuals for an immersive viewing experience. The 90Hz refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and fluid animations, making it ideal for gaming and multimedia consumption. Meanwhile, the Galaxy M06 5G features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen with up to 800 nits of peak brightness, ensuring decent visibility even under bright outdoor conditions. While the M06’s display provides an adequate experience for everyday use, the M16’s AMOLED panel offers richer colors and better power efficiency, enhancing the overall user experience.

In terms of software support, Samsung is offering six OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the Galaxy M16 5G, whereas the Galaxy M06 5G will receive four OS upgrades and four years of security updates. Both smartphones support 25W fast charging and come with Samsung Knox Vault security for enhanced data protection. Additionally, the Galaxy M16 5G introduces Samsung Wallet with Tap & Pay functionality, a first for this segment.

The Galaxy M16 5G is available in three RAM and storage variants: 4GB+128GB for ₹11,499 (including ₹1,000 bank cashback), 6GB+128GB for ₹12,999, and 8GB+128GB for ₹14,499. The Galaxy M06 5G is offered in 4GB+128GB for ₹9,499 (including ₹500 bank cashback) and 6GB+128GB for ₹10,999. Color options for the M16 include Blush Pink, Mint Green, and Thunder Black, while the M06 comes in Sage Green and Blazing Black.
