The group has secured two renewable energy projects totaling 1,270 MW, comprising 500 MW of solar power and 770 MW of hydroelectric power. These projects will be carried out in partnership with Druk Holding and Investments, the Royal Government of Bhutan’s commercial and investment arm.

Reliance Enterprises will collaborate with Druk Holding to develop a 500 MW solar power plant in Gelephu Mindfulness City, Bhutan. The project will be carried out over the next two years in two phases of 250 MW each.
