The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the updated list of test cities for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024. The previously issued admit cards for the NEET PG 2024 exam scheduled on June 23 are no longer valid.

According to the official notice, due to additional security measures implemented by NBEMS and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Government of India), the exam will now be held in 185 test cities nationwide.

Candidates who previously received NEET PG 2024 admit cards must now select their preferred test city again through an online portal. This selection window will be available from July 19 to 22 (until 11:55 pm) on the official website, natboard.edu.in.

The allocated test city will be communicated via email on July 29, and the specific test venue will be detailed in the admit card, which will be released on August 8.

Candidates should be aware that they will not have the option to choose their exam shift (morning or afternoon). The timings for both shifts will be announced later. This will be the first time the exam is conducted in two separate batches.

The NBE postponed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Postgraduate (NEET PG) on June 22, just hours before the exam was set to begin, as a precautionary measure. The ministry stated, “This decision was made to prioritize the students’ welfare and preserve the integrity of the examination process… New dates will be announced as soon as possible.”
