The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the Maharashtra SSC result for 2024, revealing an impressive overall pass rate of 95.81%. Konkan district boasts the highest pass percentage, while Nagpur recorded the lowest performance.

In the recently concluded matric exams held from March 1 to 26, the Maharashtra Board reported a significant turnout with over 15 lakh students participating in the MSBSHSE Matric exam for 2024. Out of these, 81,991 students achieved an impressive score of 90% and above, while 128,772 students secured marks between 85-80%. Additionally, 182,033 students fell within the range of 80-75%, and a notable 187 students attained a perfect 100% pass rate.

This year, amidst confusion over a question regarding the smallest atom in the Science 1 paper of the Class 10 examination, the Maharashtra board has decided to accept both “Helium” and “Hydrogen” as correct answers. Students who chose either option will receive full marks for the question.

Recently, the Maharashtra education department has instructed all state board schools to conduct special activities for students in grades 1 to 8 every Saturday in the upcoming academic session. These activities aim to enhance students’ mental health and overall development. In 2023, according to the Maharashtra board, Konkan achieved the highest pass percentage of 98.11%, with girls achieving a pass rate of 95.87%. Last year, the Maharashtra SSC result was announced by the board on June 2, 2023.
