Tata Motors Announces 2024 Deals!
As a new month rolls in, car enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the latest offers and perks from their favorite manufacturers. Tata Motors, without inconveniencing its customers, has introduced enticing deals for its models in 2024.
Tata Discounts: 2023 & 2024 Models
Tata dealerships continue to provide significant discounts on 2023 car and SUV models, such as the pre-facelift versions of Nexon, Harrier, and Safari. Manufacturers are also offering attractive deals and discounts on the 2024 models of Punch, Altros, Tiago, and Tigor. Let’s explore the discounts and offers available this month.
Up to ₹1.25 Lakh Off on Older Harrier & Safari (ADAS Automatics)
Huge Discounts On Tata Cars In May 2024
Tata is providing a combined discount of Rs 1.25 lakh on the earlier versions of Harrier and Safari. This comprises a Rs 75,000 cash discount along with a Rs 50,000 exchange bonus. This offer is specifically valid for automatic variants equipped with ADAS technology.
No Discounts on 2024 Tata Models This Month
For variants without ADAS, customers can avail discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh. Those interested in purchasing the 2023 facelift models can enjoy total benefits of up to Rs 70,000. However, there are no offers available for the 2024 models this month, disappointing expectations.
Harrier & Safari Engine & Specs
Both SUVs are equipped with a 2.0-litre diesel engine generating a maximum power of 170 bhp and peak torque of 350 Nm. They are paired with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic gearbox. The Harrier is priced between Rs 15.49 lakh and Rs 26.44 lakh, while the Safari’s price ranges from Rs 16.19 lakh to Rs 27.34 lakh.
Nexon Discounts: Pre-Facelift Upto ₹90,000
Similar to the Harrier and Safari, Tata dealerships still have remaining stock of some petrol manual pre-facelift Nexon models. These models are offered with discounts of up to Rs 90,000 this month. Diesel and petrol AMT variants will receive discounts of up to Rs 70,000.
Tata Nexon Discounts Upto ₹45,000 (Except MY2024)
There will be discounts of up to Rs 45,000 for Nexon models manufactured between October and December 2023, but there are no benefits offered for MY2024 models by Tata Motors. The Nexon is available with 120 bhp, 1.2-liter turbo petrol, and 115 bhp 1.5-liter diesel engines, paired with a six-speed manual or six-speed AMT gearbox.
However, the facelifted model features a five-speed manual and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic unit for the petrol variant. The ex-showroom price of the Nexon ranges from Rs 8.15 lakh to Rs 15.80 lakh.
Punch Discounts Upto ₹10,000 (Except MY2024)
Currently, manufacturers are offering only a Rs 10,000 cash discount on the 2023 models of Tata’s smallest SUV, the Punch. However, there are no benefits available for the 2024 Punch SUVs. The vehicle comes in petrol manual, petrol AMT, and CNG manual variants, with the 1.2-liter engine producing 88 bhp power in the petrol version and 74 bhp power in the CNG model.
The ex-showroom price of the Punch ranges from Rs 6.13 lakh to Rs 10.20 lakh. Similarly, Maruti models maintained their top position in sales last month as well.
Tata Tiago Discounts Upto ₹80,000 (Except MY2024)
In May, Tata’s compact hatchback, the Tiago, is offered with discounts of up to Rs 80,000 and Rs 70,000 on petrol manual and petrol AMT variants respectively for the MY2023 models. Discounts on the old single-cylinder Tiago CNG go up to Rs 75,000, while the new twin-cylinder models receive discounts of up to Rs 60,000.
However, for MY2024 models, mid-spec XT and XT (O) trims are eligible for benefits of up to Rs 40,000, while lower spec XM, CNG-MT, and AMT variants receive offers of up to Rs 25,000, and all other trims get total discounts up to Rs 30,000.
The Tiago features a 1.2-liter engine producing 86 bhp power in petrol mode and 73 bhp power in CNG mode, with options for a five-speed manual or AMT transmission. Notably, it is the first hatchback in India to offer a CNG-automatic powertrain option. The ex-showroom price of the Tiago ranges from Rs 5.65 lakh to Rs 8.90 lakh.
Tata Tigor Discounts Upto ₹75,000 (Except MY2024)
The Tata Tigor, a compact sedan, offers four powertrain options shared with the Tiago, making it the first in its segment to feature a CNG-automatic option. For MY2023 Tigor models, petrol and single-cylinder CNG versions receive total benefits of up to Rs 75,000, while twin-cylinder Tigor CNG models from last year are discounted by Rs 65,000.
Additionally, discounts of up to Rs 40,000 are available on MY2024 versions of the mid-spec XM and top-spec XZ+ variants, with other variants, including CNG-powered ones, receiving offers up to Rs 30,000 this month. The price of the Tata Tigor ranges from Rs 6.30 lakh to Rs 9.55 lakh.
Tata Altroz Discounts Upto ₹55,000 (MY2023)
The Tata Altros hatchbacks from MY2023 and MY2024 are receiving maximum discounts of up to Rs 55,000 and Rs 35,000 respectively. While the biggest benefits are for petrol manual and diesel variants, buyers of Altros CNG and petrol DCT trims will also receive respectable offers. It’s noteworthy that the Altros is the only hatchback in India with a diesel engine featuring a 1.5-liter unit producing 90 bhp power with a manual gearbox.
The price of this premium hatchback model ranges from Rs 6.65 lakh to Rs 10.80 lakh. Although it shares petrol and CNG options with the Tiago and Tigor, there are tuning differences. Furthermore, the petrol engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic option, while the CNG engine is limited to a five-speed manual.
