KLE Technological University: MCA Student Stabbed to Death After Exam, Stalker Arrested

 

A horrifying incident unfolded at KLE Technological University’s BVB campus on Thursday afternoon. A 24-year-old man, reportedly from a different college, stabbed a 24-year-old MCA student on campus after she rejected his advances. The young woman died on the way to the nearby KIMS Hospital. The enraged man attempted to escape but was apprehended by students and staff within an hour and handed over to the police.

The person who passed away is Neha Hiremath, and she was the daughter of Niranjan Hiremath, who is a Congress corporator. The boy involved is Fayaz Kondikoppa, reportedly from Savadatti in Belagavi district. Police stated that Neha had been absent from college for two months due to recovering from typhoid. She returned to college on Thursday to take an exam.

Parents’ Worst Nightmare: Daughter Killed Leaving College

BVB College News : A boy stabbed a girl multiple times after she exited an exam room around 4:45 pm. The attack was fatal and the girl died. The police report states that the victim’s parents had warned the boy to stay away from their daughter months earlier. The parents had become so concerned that they had begun accompanying their daughter to and from college.

The victim’s mother said her daughter was innocent and they never allowed her to go to college alone. The boy and the girl were reportedly in the same undergraduate program. The police commissioner says the boy claimed to be friends with the girl but that she had been avoiding him recently. The police are investigating and have arrested the boy.

Dr. Ashok Shettar, the vice-chancellor of KLE Technological University, stated that the campus, which has around 10,000 students, is consistently well-protected, with no room for security failures. He mentioned plans to enhance security measures and encouraged students and parents to report any concerns regarding the safety or future of students.
