Apple is reportedly gearing up for multiple product announcements in the coming days, including the potential launch of the iPhone SE 4 and a new MacBook Air powered by the M4 chip. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple’s announcement cycle may begin as early as today (February 12), with major reveals expected in the following weeks.

Apple’s Upcoming Announcements: What to Expect

February 12 – A Smaller Announcement

Apple is expected to make a minor announcement today, though details remain unclear. Speculation suggests the company may update its entry-level iPad with the A18 chip, adding support for Apple Intelligence. Another possibility is the release of the first beta of iOS 18.4, which is anticipated to bring improvements to Siri, including enhanced on-screen awareness, better personal context understanding, and improved system controls.

February 14 – Vision Pro Update

Apple may announce support for Sony’s PlayStation VR2 hand controllers for the Vision Pro headset. This partnership could enhance the gaming experience by allowing PS VR2’s controllers to function with Apple’s mixed-reality platform. Additionally, the controllers may be integrated for navigating the visionOS interface, addressing the lack of a dedicated handheld control system. This announcement aligns with Sony’s upcoming State of Play event, where updates on the PlayStation platform are expected.

Next Week – iPhone SE 4 Reveal

The fourth-generation iPhone SE may debut next week, featuring a modern design inspired by the iPhone 14, including a flat-frame structure and glossy glass back. Unlike recent iPhones, it may retain the mute switch. The home button is expected to be removed in favor of Face ID within a notch. The device is rumored to be powered by the A18 chip—the same processor used in the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus—paired with 8GB of RAM, making it the most affordable AI-compatible iPhone. Storage is expected to start at 128GB, doubling the capacity of its predecessor. It may also include a 48MP rear camera and a 12MP front-facing camera.

M4 MacBook Air Launching Soon

Following the introduction of M4-powered MacBook Pro models, Apple is expected to release an updated MacBook Air featuring the M4 chip. The base variant may come with 16GB of RAM, aligning with recent changes in the MacBook Pro lineup. However, no major design updates are anticipated this year.
