The new iPad Air starts at ₹59,900, while the A16-powered iPad is priced from ₹34,900. Both models are currently available for pre-order and will hit retail stores on March 12.
iPhones
In the smartphone category, Apple has discontinued the iPhone 14 and the third-generation iPhone SE. This comes after the introduction of the iPhone 16e, which is priced at ₹59,900 and features a variant of Apple’s A18 chip, supporting Apple Intelligence capabilities.

Apple Expands in India: Hiring Begins for Four New Retail Stores
Apple has officially started hiring for its four upcoming retail stores in India, signaling a major expansion of its physical presence in the country. The new stores will be located in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Pune, and the company is actively recruiting employees for these locations.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has frequently emphasized India’s growing importance to the company, noting that iPhone sales in the country reached record highs during the December quarter. He highlighted that India is now the second-largest smartphone market globally and ranks third in the PC and tablet segment.
Apple’s retail head, Deirdre O’Brien, also underscored the role of physical stores in strengthening customer relationships, calling them key to delivering the full Apple experience.
