OnePlus 13 launched in China with impressive specs

OnePlus 13: A New Era of Flagship Power OnePlus has officially launched its flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13, in China. This device is among the first to utilize the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and features a substantial 6,000mAh battery, marking a notable improvement over its predecessor. While the OnePlus 13 is currently only available in China, it is anticipated to be introduced to the global market in the upcoming months, with a launch in India expected in January 2025.

The OnePlus 13 will be offered in four variants in China, starting with the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. Color options include White, Obsidian, and Blue. Here’s a breakdown of the pricing for the Chinese models:

– 12GB + 256GB variant: CNY 4,499 (approximately ₹53,100)
– 12GB + 512GB model: CNY 4,899 (approximately ₹57,900)
– 16GB + 512GB version: CNY 5,299 (approximately ₹62,600)
– 24GB + 1TB variant: CNY 5,999 (approximately ₹70,900)

OnePlus 13: A New Era of Flagship Power  Departing from the design of its predecessors, the OnePlus 13 features a quad-curved design that gives it a flat look with gentle curves at the edges, resulting in a slightly shorter device with a 6.82-inch display. It boasts a BOE X2 OLED display, an 8T LTPO panel with a 1440p resolution and a refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz. The typical brightness is 800 nits, while peak brightness can reach 4,500 nits, and it includes an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

A notable highlight of the OnePlus 13 is its new vibration motor, designed to provide feedback comparable to that of a gaming controller, and is the largest ever included in an Android device, according to the company. Additionally, the phone introduces an IP69 rating, which offers enhanced protection against high-pressure water and steam cleaning, surpassing the IP68 rating commonly found in flagship devices.

On the rear, the OnePlus 13 features three Hasselblad-branded 50-megapixel cameras: a primary camera equipped with a Sony LYT-808 sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS), a 3x periscope lens (LYT-600) with a 73mm equivalent focal length, and a 15mm equivalent ultra-wide camera that utilizes Samsung’s S5KJN5 sensor, which can also function as a macro lens. For selfies, it has a 32-megapixel front camera.

The device runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 for the Chinese market, with international versions expected to come with OxygenOS 15. It is powered by a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
