“It is with profound sadness that we confirm the passing of an Indian Embassy staff member on the evening of September 18, 2024. We are coordinating with all relevant authorities and the family to facilitate the prompt return of the remains to India,” the statement said. “Out of respect for the family’s privacy, no further information about the deceased will be shared. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding,” it added.
