10 Arrested in Murder Plot

Police have detained Sandalwood’s prominent actor, Star Darshan, in connection with the murder of Renuka Swamy from Chitradurga. Allegedly, Renuka Swamy sent offensive messages to Darshan’s girlfriend, Pavitra Gowda, leading to suspicions of her involvement in the crime as well. Pavitra Gowda has been arrested on conspiracy charges and has undergone questioning at the Annapurneswari Nagar police station.

Darshan implicated in murder case

Renowned actor Darshan, known as the “Challenging Star,” has been apprehended by the police in Mysore. He stands accused in the murder case of Renuka Swamy, a resident of Chitradurga. Alongside Darshan, ten individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident, under the direction of Vijayanagara ACP.

The case unfolds with allegations that Renuka Swamy made derogatory remarks on social media about actress Pavitra Gowda, who is romantically linked to Darshan. Renuka Swamy was lured from Chitradurga to Bangalore, where, on the night of the 8th, he was fatally assaulted with a blunt object at Vinay’s shed. His body was then disposed of in a nearby ditch. On the 9th, the discovery of his body by stray dogs in a culvert prompted a security guard to alert the authorities.

Upon examination of the body’s injuries and identification of Renuka Swamy, the police informed his family. During interrogation, the accused implicated four individuals, including Darshan, claiming they carried out the murder on Darshan’s orders. It is alleged that Darshan was present during the incident.

Darshan is currently being transported to Bangalore, where the case is under the jurisdiction of the Kamakshi Palya police station.
