The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is closing its registration window for Clerk positions today, July 21, 2024. Prospective candidates should check the official website, ibps.in, for details on eligibility, age limits, the selection process, and other relevant information before applying. For the 2025-26 recruitment cycle, IBPS has announced 6,128 Clerk positions.
The Pre-Examination Training will be held from August 12 to 17, 2024. The preliminary exam is scheduled for August, with call letters to be issued around the same time, though exact dates are still to be confirmed. The IBPS Prelims Exam for Clerks will primarily be objective and include sections on English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. It will feature 100 questions worth 100 marks. The IBPS Mains Exam 2024 is planned for October, lasting 160 minutes and covering 200 marks.
To qualify for clerk recruitment, candidates must be between 20 and 28 years old as of July 1, 2024. Their birth dates should fall between July 2, 1996, and July 1, 2004. Different categories may have more relaxed age limits.

Candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories will need to pay an application fee of Rs.175, while those from General and other categories must pay Rs.850.
On the official website, applicants can view job openings at various participating banks, including Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Indian Bank, and Punjab & Sind Bank across all states and union territories.
