603 HP Mercedes Unleashes Track Monster with MASSIVE Brakes!
The Mercedes-AMG GT63, known for its powerful performance and grand touring capability, is now enhanced with the new GT63 Pro model. It features increased horsepower, improved aerodynamics, enhanced engine cooling, and an advanced all-wheel-drive system. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine now delivers 603 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque.
This allows the GT63 Pro to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and from 0 to 124 mph in just 10.9 seconds, half a second quicker than the standard GT63. It boasts a top speed of 197 mph.
Pro cools better, grips harder
The GT63 Pro focuses on aerodynamics and cooling for improved track capability. It introduces two upgraded radiators in the front wheel arches to enhance engine efficiency. The AWD system benefits from dedicated radiators and water pumps for the differentials and transfer case, ensuring consistent performance during extended track use.
The redesigned front fascia includes larger intakes, air deflectors, and an active air panel for controlled airflow based on speed and cooling requirements. These modifications reduce front axle lift by 66 pounds. Additional aerodynamic features like underbody deflectors and a prominent rear wing contribute to 33 pounds of extra rear axle downforce.
Race-ready luxury, customizable flair
The GT63 Pro includes standard carbon-ceramic brakes featuring 16.5-inch discs and six-piston calipers, the largest ceramic set currently offered by AMG. Titanium backs on the discs reduce unsprung mass. It rides on lightweight 21-inch forged wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires, with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Rs available at no extra cost for enhanced grip.
The car features AMG’s advanced hydraulically linked suspension and rear-wheel steering, along with AMG Performance bucket seats and extensive use of carbon fiber in both exterior and interior components. Custom paint options may be the only additional cost.
The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro will debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, with deliveries slated for next year. Pricing details haven’t been disclosed, but it’s expected to be higher than the base model, which starts at $136,050.
