On the BSE, the stock saw trading of 8.98 lakh shares so far, exceeding the average daily volume of 7.7 lakh shares over the past month.
BSE A Group surges
IFCI Ltd saw a significant rise of 9.48% to Rs 68, placing it as the second highest gainer in the ‘A’ group. Trading on the BSE involved 127.51 lakh shares, surpassing the average daily volume of 30.13 lakh shares over the past month.

MMTC Ltd surged by 7.07% to reach Rs 91.78, positioning it as the fifth largest gainer in the ‘A’ group. Trading on the BSE amounted to 18.95 lakh shares, exceeding the average daily volume of 10.71 lakh shares over the past month.
