Dynabook Americas, Inc. has introduced its latest professional laptops: the 14-inch Tecra A40-M and the 16-inch Tecra A60-M. Priced starting under $1,300, these models come equipped with Copilot AI and Intel Core Ultra processors to boost productivity for professionals and educators.

The Tecra A40-M runs on Windows 11 Pro and offers a range of Intel Core Ultra processors, including Series 1 H28, Core Ultra 5 135U, Core Ultra 5 145U, Core Ultra 7 155U, Core Ultra 7 165U, Core Ultra 5 135H, Core Ultra 5 145H, Core Ultra 7 155H, and Core Ultra 7 165H. It supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5 5,400MHz memory and includes Intel Arc Graphics, with a minimum of 16 GB dual-channel memory required. The 14-inch WUXGA display (1920×1200) optionally features touch functionality, and the laptop offers PCIe NVMe SSD storage options up to 2TB.

The Tecra A40-M offers robust connectivity options, including Intel Ethernet Connection i219, Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211, and Bluetooth. Users can choose from a 720p HD webcam, a 5MP webcam, or a 5MP webcam with an IR camera for Windows Hello Face Sign-in. The laptop features stereo speakers with DTS processing and a dual-microphone array for audio.

For ports, the Tecra A40-M includes HDMI, two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports (one with USB Sleep & Charge), an RJ-45 Ethernet LAN port, a headset jack, and a microSD card slot. It also boasts several security features, such as Microsoft Secured-core PC, Trusted Platform Module 2.0, a fingerprint reader, a smart card reader, and a security lock slot.

The Tecra A40-M is equipped with a 60 Wh Li-Polymer battery and features a dark blue metallic polycarbonate ABS chassis with an IONPure IPL antimicrobial coating. The Tecra A60-M, running on Windows 11 Pro, offers the same range of Intel Core Ultra processors as the A40-M and supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5 5,400MHz memory. It includes Intel Arc Graphics with a minimum requirement of 16 GB dual-channel memory. The 16-inch WUXGA display (1920×1200) can be optionally upgraded to touch functionality, and storage options include PCIe NVMe SSDs up to 2TB.

They both come with a dark blue metallic chassis, full-size backlit keyboards with dedicated conferencing hotkeys, and large ClickPads.
