The results for the Bihar B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination 2024 have been officially declared. A total of 189,844 candidates appeared for the entrance test, vying for seats in the two-year B.Ed and Shiksha Shastri programs. Among them, Preeti Anmol from Hajipur secured the highest score in the state, achieving 102 marks. Bihar B.Ed Exam Results 2024: Key Statistics

As per reports from Darbhanga, the Bihar B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination 2024 results were released on Monday. Out of the 189,568 candidates who sat for the exam, 180,050 successfully cleared it. The announcement was made by Prof. Sanjay Kumar Chaudhary, Vice Chancellor of the State Nodal Center at Lalit Narayan Mithila University in Darbhanga.

 

Toppers and Gender-Wise Performance

Preeti Anmol from Hajipur emerged as the state topper with 102 marks. The exam results revealed that male candidates had a higher success rate. Out of 94,392 male candidates, 91,832 passed the exam, while among 95,176 female candidates, 88,218 were successful. Additionally, for the two-year Shiksha Shastri program, 257 candidates passed out of the 284 who had taken the exam.

 

Counseling Process and Registration for College Selection

With the results now out, the online registration process for counseling will soon begin. Candidates must complete their registration to be eligible for the counseling sessions, as those who fail to register will not be considered for college allotments. Candidates can apply to a maximum of 12 universities during the registration process.

The final allocation of B.Ed colleges will be determined based on multiple factors, including merit, the roster system, and the preferences indicated by candidates during registration. Therefore, prompt registration is crucial for securing admission to a preferred institution.

 

Overview of the Bihar B.Ed Entrance Exam

The entrance examination for the Bihar B.Ed and Shiksha Shastri programs was conducted on June 25, 2024, across 341 centers in 11 cities throughout the state. A total of 189,844 candidates participated in the exam, including 95,130 women and 94,430 men.

A separate examination center was established in Darbhanga city to accommodate 386 candidates who appeared for the Shiksha Shastri program. Of these, 284 took the exam, with 257 qualifying successfully.
