120+ Naxalites Neutralized in Brutal Chhattisgarh Crackdown! Ongoing Encounter Rages in Abujhmad!

Chhattisgarh security forces have killed over 120 Naxalites in 2024 through ongoing anti-Naxal operations. A fierce encounter is currently underway in the Abujhmad region, with forces from four districts collaborating. This follows a recent clash on the Narayanpur-Dantewada border that left 7 Naxalites dead.

Security forces conducted a significant anti-Naxal operation in Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh, resulting in the death of 8 Naxalites in an ongoing encounter. Concurrently, the DRG, STF, and ITBP 53rd Battalion are conducting a search operation in the Narayanpur-Kondagaon-Kanker-Dantewada region. One soldier was injured during the operation.

The ongoing operation between police forces and Naxalites is currently underway in the Kutul, Farasbeda, and Kodtameta areas. Security forces from four districts are collaborating in a joint operation in Abujhmad. Additionally, DRG, STF, and ITBP 53rd Battalion personnel from Narayanpur, Kondagaon, Kanker, and Dantewada are conducting search operations in the region. Encounters have intermittently occurred over the past two days in this area, as confirmed by Narayanpur SP Prabhat Kumar.

On the 7th of June, there was an encounter between Naxalites and District Reserve Group (DRG) personnel in the border area of Narayanpur-Dantewada in Chhattisgarh, resulting in the death of 7 Naxalites. The security forces initiated this anti-Naxal operation upon receiving intelligence about the presence of numerous Naxalites hiding in villages within the Mungedi and Gobel areas, situated on the border of Narayanpur, Dantewada, and Kondagaon districts.

In Chhattisgarh, a combined team of police and security forces has been conducting continuous anti-Naxal operations, resulting in the killing of over 120 Naxalites so far this year. In May, security forces also conducted successful operations leading to the elimination of a significant number of Naxalites in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh.
